Chili Art Gallery in collaboration with the Art Curator Paris Kapralos invites artists to submit their interest in participating in the exhibition “Anthropogeographies.” The exhibition will be physically hosted in Athens and simultaneously accessible online.

This exhibition explores the interactions between the natural/artificial/virtual-technological environment and humans.

Original artworks of any style and artistic processing, representational or non-representational, expressionism, symbolism, abstraction, or any other choice, are accepted for the exhibition. Artworks such as paintings, prints, photographs, digital art, collages, and video art are all welcome.

Conceptual Framework: “Anthropogeographies” is the title of an exhibition that examines the dynamic relationships between geography and humans, particularly how locations and landscapes shape human identity and experience. The exhibition focuses on the unique role of maps and bodies as means of perception and interpretation of the world, examining the interactions between the natural, artificial, and virtual-technological environment and human existence. Through a diverse dialogue of images, installations, and multimedia, artists explore concepts of self-determination, freedom, belonging, migration, and cultural identity, highlighting the influence of geography on the formation of human societies and individual experiences, under a central theme suggesting the complex relationship between space and identity, offering a new perspective on understanding the contemporary world.
