DIA MANESI
Artist of the Month
Dia Manesi is a contemporary visual artist who lives and works in Athens. She has a background in Chemistry and classical ballet, elements that shape a practice where technical precision meets physicality. She creates three-dimensional painting works on Plexiglas that activate light, shadow, and the viewer, while critical discourse highlights a consistent exploration of memory, identity, and spatial experience. At times, the work carries a high conceptual density and a layered narrative structure with symbolic forms and inner landscapes. Her work aligns with contemporary art practices such as Expanded Painting, art objects, and installations.
