Michel Devanakis, a self-taught visual artist, was born in Duala (Cameroon) in 1962 to Greek parents. He studied Graphic Design and Advertising in France and lived in several countries before settling in Greece in 1997, where he founded a graphic design company. In 2001, he created “filaki.gr,” the largest humorous website in Greece. Since 2013, he has been exclusively dedicated to painting. His works have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections in various countries. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (EETE) and collaborates with the collective of visual artists ARC – Art Revisited Collective since March 2024.
