Alexandra Bandalouka

Alexandra Bandalouka was born in Arta in 1959, where she lived until the age of 18. She studied economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and pursued postgraduate studies at Pace University in New York. She worked in New York and Greece at the Ministry of Industry and the National Bank of Greece, from which she retired in 2013. Since 2010, she has been systematically involved in painting, attending painting seminars and art history classes in Thessaloniki and Athens, where she has permanently lived for the last 10 years, focusing exclusively on painting. Still lifes, landscapes, portraits, and abstract paintings with acrylics and oils have always attracted her interest. Her works have been presented in a retrospective solo exhibition, while she has also participated in eleven group exhibitions in Greece and one abroad. Her works are held in private collections and in the Skoufas Art Society in Arta.
