Petros Petrou and Stella Chatzipanagiotou – bodarch

Petros Petrou & Stella Chatzipanagiotou – bodarch studied architecture and fine arts in Rome in the 1970s, with parallel participation in seminars, activities, and artistic environments. Stella has additionally studied dance in Athens and Rome, choreographing “space performances,” as she calls them, through “plastic movement” since then. In Greece since 1985, they present their work mainly through pioneering forms of art, such as performances, installations, conceptual art through the “Architecture of body and space – bodarch” framework, as creators participating in various festivals, architectural forums, group exhibitions, conferences, and more. Movement is an additional expressive medium that complements their work, with an emphasis on moving sculpture. P.S. During their studies, they shaped their philosophical beliefs with a reference point to theories around the Politics and Aesthetics of Critical Theory or the Frankfurt School.
