Marina Zografaki

Marina Zografaki was born in Patras where she completed her elementary studies, then graduated from Central High School Phoenix, Arizona. In 1973, she obtained a diploma in interior decoration from LaSalle Extension University, Chicago. Upon her return to Greece, she studied painting at the Art Department of the Lyceum of Greek Women under the guidance of Lorenzo Carpathakis (1976-1984). From 1991 to 1993, she attended seminars in Art History by Manos Stefanidis at the Municipal University of Piraeus and by Chrysanthos Christou and Marina Lampraki-Plaka at the Archaeological Society of Athens. From 1996 to 2002, she attended classes at the “Apopsis” and “Simio” Centers of Literature and Art, taught by the painter George Rorris. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. She has presented her work in ten solo exhibitions, the most recent of which was under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, and has also participated in twelve group exhibitions. Her works are held in public and private collections in Greece and abroad.
