Dora Mavromatidou

Dora Mavromatidou was born and lives in Katerini. She loves Art and Culture. She attended Mosaic classes at the Center of Letters and Arts in Dion during the years 2018-2019. She fell in love with mosaics and developed a passion for them. Through three solo and collective exhibitions, she unfolds her own view of mosaics. She uses both natural and contemporary materials, with indirect and direct techniques. A thought, an image, piece by piece with dedication and love, take shape and create a distinct work. She declares herself a student, as she learns more about the art of mosaic in every possible way. The art-loving public embraced her works, which gives her the impetus to continue creating.
