Emmanouil Pantermos

(Manolo) Emmanuel Pantermos, born in Eressos, Lesvos, on January 21, 1989, discovered his love for painting from a very young age. After living in various cities in Greece, he has been residing in Athens for the past 7 years, professionally engaged in information technology. His encounter with the refugee crisis in Lesvos in 2015 served as a catalyst for his evolution, prompting him to further explore the human condition and emotional contradictions through art. For Manolo, painting is a way to balance the monopoly of technology in today’s world with something spiritual. Fiction and the exploration of the human soul are his main influences. Through his work, he seeks to highlight the contradictions and contrasts of the human psyche, creating narratives of his inner world. This exhibition marks the first time his works are being presented to the public.
