Lena Zikou

Lena Zikou was born in Athens and worked in the banking sector for 45 years, holding positions as General Manager in Athens and Cairo, Egypt. Alongside her career, she pursued painting as a self-taught artist, capturing the world through the prism of color and design, serving the free expression of a modern execution. What truly matters to Lena is creating in every phase of her life. The child within her remains alive when the result brings an approach to worlds that need exploration and liberation from the everyday images. The different figures, in a free translation, reflect her love for nature and animals. With care, often in detail, each of her paintings aims to evoke different emotions and thoughts, transporting the viewer to imaginary worlds. She has participated in 5 group exhibitions in Athens and 3 solo exhibitions in Athens and Mykonos. Her works are held by collectors in Athens, Cairo, and New York.
