Katerina Mitsopoulou is a visual artist based in Greece. She creates vibrant, handcrafted acrylic paintings on canvas, expressive portraits, pyrography works, and hand-painted wooden objects. Her art is deeply influenced by traditional folk art, nature, and symbolic motifs such as the sun, the moon, and the recurring image of the eye. Her work is also shaped by her background as a social worker, infusing her creations with empathy and a strong emphasis on human connection and the interweaving of forms. She has presented her work in group exhibitions throughout Greece. Her aspiration is to bring warmth into people’s homes and, in the long term, to use art as a therapeutic means of fostering connection and empowerment through creativity.
