Sissy Tziriti

Sissy Tziriti was born in 1963 in Alexandroupoli and has been living in Athens since 1981. She is a graduate of the Hellenic Open University, where she studied European Culture. Since 2020, she has been a student in the Department of Fine Arts at the School of Fine Arts Vorgia, of the artist Ioannis Vorgia. She is currently in her fourth year of studies under the supervision of professors Ioannis Vorgia (free sketch, portraiture), Dimitra Sofianou (drawing techniques and color), Daniela Stamatiadi (drawing, conceptual art, creative projects), Vangelis Theodoridis (contemporary practice) and is taught aesthetics and issues of critical approach by Niobi Kritikou. She has studied history and philosophy of art at the university and attends seminars and training on art. Concepts she deals with daily in her studies and daily life, things that touch her, anger her, and concern her on a local and international level, which are transformed into fields of artistic action and inspiration. Additionally, she has curated six painting exhibitions and has exhibited her works in group exhibitions in Athens.
