Ioanna Papagianni

Ioanna Papagianni grew up and lives in Athens. After completing her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, she began attending classes in Art History and Philosophy at Borgias Fine Art. She then continued in the Fine Art program under the supervision of professors V. Theodoridis and A. Nikolaidis in drawing and color, N. Stamatiadi in conceptual approaches and contemporary artistic currents, and N. Kritikou in curating works and critical approaches to contemporary art. The teaching of the contemporary mode of artistic creation contributed to her persistent and continuous experimentation for the liberation of her expressiveness. During her studies, she specialized in the field of conceptual art, where with a minimalist disposition, she tries to render the essence of her thoughts. She constantly experiments with materials and new ideas with the aim of revitalizing her inspiration around the fields of philosophy and the natural sciences.
