Michaela Karagiorgi was born in 1977. She graduated from the 1st Technical School of Limassol and then studied Graphic Design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI) where she graduated from the Graphic Design department in 2003. For the past 21 years, she has maintained a ceramic workshop in the city of Limassol in Cyprus, and she is professionally involved with clay. Additionally, she teaches ceramics and sculpture. She has presented her work in five solo exhibitions and in fourteen group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad. Her creations focus on humans, particularly women in all stages of life. Her material is clay (white, gray, and sculpting clay) of high temperature (1280 degrees Celsius).
