Giannis Stamoulis

Yiannis Stamoulis was born in Athens in 1969. He worked in the Fire Brigade and retired with the rank of Brigadier General. Alongside his service, he pursued specialized studies in civil protection and security, engaged in research and writing numerous historical articles, studies, and books, serving as the Director of the Fire Brigade Museum. For several years, he has been amateurishly involved in painting, in all its forms. His first twenty works were included in a publication for the pandemic titled “Transmission Hours” in November 2020. In 2022, he participated in an exhibition titled “Works of Life” featuring firefighter visual artists, while the following year, he organized an art exhibition titled “Athens Artistically,” dedicated to Athens, exhibiting many of his own works, and also participates in group exhibitions.
