George Tilelis was born on March 11, 1959, in Karditsa. From 1982 to 2005, he worked as a firefighter while also pursuing artistic activities. His restless artistic nature led him to create the innovative family business Plexiartshop, which pioneers in the field of advanced applications, graphics, and silk-screen printing, designing and manufacturing unique art products for museum shops as well as for any other institution or company. He is involved in abstract sculpture and abstract geometric sculpture, using plexiglass and stone as primary materials either autonomously or in combination.
