Stella Kyriakou

Stella Kyriakou was born in Melbourne, Australia. She studied and engaged with various forms of art. She expressed her artistic concerns very early on by studying classical ballet for about 10 years. She then attended classes in stage design and theatrical costume construction at the Theater of Changes. She completed her studies in silversmithing alongside the experienced artisan Vaso Floka and engaged in the design and construction of visual jewelry. Her passion for discovering new materials and techniques led her to sculpture and ceramics and to all the broader artistic applications, where she apprenticed alongside the experienced ceramist Matilda Malandraki. Her works have been presented in fashion shows and numerous solo and group exhibitions, with the Benaki Museum being a significant milestone.
