“From an early age, Ilias created figures and forms from anything he could find, from batteries and wires to the small metal components found in clothes pegs. He returned to this practice in October 2023 and has been creating continuously ever since. Today, he is a contemporary alchemist of the urban landscape. Rather than sourcing materials from shops, he draws inspiration from objects discarded by the city. Every object he finds on the street is transformed into an anthropomorphic, industrial sculpture, imbued with life and functionality. In this way, he reminds us that beauty and value can emerge from the most unexpected places. His works are more than sculptures; they are vivid examples of creative reuse and regeneration.
