Maria Christina was born in Corfu in 1978. She studied economics in Italy and graduated in 2001. Common elements of culture and the arts serve as the connecting link between her homeland and Italy. Alongside her studies, she attended painting and ceramics workshops. Returning to Greece, she lives in Athens and worked for Greek and multinational companies as an economist. Over the last ten years, she has been employed in the public sector. 2020 was one of the most revealing years of her life as clay acquired a primary role of expression and creation. She participated in ceramic classes in various private studios in Athens. Since then, she has been creating and evolving through ceramic art.
