Brief Biography
Paris Kapralos is an Art Curator, Founder and Manager of the ARC – Art Revisited Collective, Founder of ARTgrID, and co-founder & publisher of Arts & Antiques CCR. He was born in 1975 and grew up in Athens, where he lives and works. He studied Economics (Athens) and Graphic Arts (Staffordshire, England). He worked as a Journalist in Economic Reporting, specializing in Technology issues, in newspapers, magazines, and online news agencies (1999-2006). He was active in organizing business conferences in the fields of IT and Telecommunications (Infocom, Greek ICT Forum, 2004-2011), and changed his professional path by turning to the Art sector in 2011. He collaborated with the Myró Group (Myró Gallery, Myrό Antiques House, Greek Marble Initiative, 2011-2017). Since 2018, he has been working as an independent Organizer and Curator of visual art exhibitions & events. He served as the representative of the Hellenic Branch of the International Watercolor Society IWS during the period 2019-2022. He has curated and organized more than 200 exhibitions, symposia, visual art activities, projects, and participations both in Greece and abroad.
