Wednesday, 19 October 2022 – Today, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Paris Kapralos has taken on the position of Development Advisor at ARTgrID. Mr. Kapralos is a well-known art curator, organizer of Art & Business Events, and a specialized business consultant with extensive experience in the fields of visual arts and information and communication technology (ICT).

Mr. Paris Kapralos was born in 1975 and grew up in Athens, where he currently resides and works, with international engagements. During the period of 2008 – 2022, he resided in Northern Greece. He studied Economics (Athens) and Graphic Arts (Staffordshire, England). He worked as a Journalist specializing in Technology for economic newspapers, magazines, and online news agencies (1999-2006). He also worked as an Organizational Manager and event organizer for business conferences in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunications (Infocom, Greek ICT Forum, 2004-2011). In 2011, he changed his professional path, shifting his focus to the art world. He collaborated with the Myrό Group (Myrό Gallery, Myrό Antiques House, Greek Marble Initiative, 2011-2017). Since 2018, he has been working as an independent Curator and Organizer of visual exhibitions and events, as well as a specialized Business Consultant.

He served as the representative of the Greek Chapter of the International Watercolor Society (IWS) from 2019 to 2022. In October 2022, he took on the position of Director of Development at ARTgrID, alongside his other activities. He has curated and organized more than 150 exhibitions, artistic events, projects, and participations within and outside Greece. Furthermore, he is a co-editor of the online magazine “Arts & Antiques CCR” and the Founder and Manager of the collective of visual artists, ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
