Despina Moschou studied Early Childhood Education, specializing in Special Education. She has been involved in various forms of art from an early age. The phrase that best expresses her is “My art is the lifeline of my mind!”, from Paschalia Travlou’s book The Roses of Silence. In 2008, she studied painting for one semester at the Dimitris Mytaras Art Workshop in Chalkida. In October, she will begin a specialized seminar entitled “Psychotherapy Through Art with an Emphasis on the Visual Arts”. Her practice includes decoupage, mixed media, art jewellery, painting and sculpture. She is particularly passionate about upcycling art, transforming discarded objects into artworks of value.
