Magda Dimoudi

Magda Dimoudi was born in Thessaloniki in 1965 and has been living in Corfu since 1986. From 1982 to 1984, she apprenticed in Byzantine painting and iconography under the guidance of Ioannis Vranos. From 1984 until September 1986, she studied preparatory art and painting at the “Praxis” workshop of Kostas Xanthopoulos, alongside Vangelis Dimitreas. In Corfu, since 1987, she has studied under Nikos Zervos, a student of Parthenis, and at the School of Fine Arts in Corfu under Spyros Alamanos. She has presented her work from 1985 to the present in 8 solo and 50 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad and has designed book covers and books for “Epsilon” publications. Her works can be found in the Municipality of Pylaia in Thessaloniki, the Corfu Art Gallery, the Greek National Tourism Organization, and private collections. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Corfu Visual Arts Association.
