GROUP & COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION

Organizing an exhibition for a group or collective of artists in collaborating galleries in Athens or Thessaloniki by ARTgrID, alongside an online exhibition. Depending on the venue, your physical exhibition can last 10-20 days in one of the well-known art spaces in Athens or Thessaloniki that ARTgrID collaborates with, alongside a digital exhibition of the exhibited works, a curatorial note by a collaborating curator, drafting and sending a Press Release to the media, communication sponsorships, your interview in collaborating media, invitations/posters and dissemination to ARTgrID’s client and visitor list, announcement on ARTgrID’s social media, issuance of a commemorative digital e-book/catalog and free online distribution, management of communication sponsorships, installation of the works in the space (setting up the exhibition), dismantling the exhibition and packaging the unsold works after the exhibition ends. The online version of the exhibition can last longer than the physical one, extending up to a month at no extra charge. Additionally, in collaboration with the selected art space, we can manage sales with a commission ranging from 35% to 50% depending on the venue and the commission they withhold for sales.

It is worth noting that ARTgrID can legally clear sales both for artists with a professional start-up and for artists without a professional start-up.

If the collective or group is established as an association and is a legal entity (e.g., AMKE, KOINSEP, etc.), ARTgrID can clear sales directly to the legal entity, so depending on the type and purposes of the legal entity, tax benefits may arise. We could provide you with consulting services on how you could operate in such a scenario. 

Finally, the group or collective can request additional services they desire, which, if feasible, will be implemented with or without additional cost. However, they cannot request the removal of part of the services from the basic exhibition package, nor can they assign them to third parties, as in this case, ARTgrID will not be able to guarantee the smooth conduct of the exhibition and/or the quality of the result.

Timing and Availability
ARTgrID cannot guarantee the availability of the spaces it collaborates with at the time the respective artist prefers to organize their solo exhibition. For this reason, it is advisable for the interested artist to inform our company at least 6-10 months before the period they would like to organize a solo exhibition.

Pricing Policy
An exhibition is shaped based on its services, so the mentioned cost in this paragraph is merely indicative. It is emphasized that once ARTgrID reaches an agreement regarding the venue and the total services and provisions that will include the implementation of the solo exhibition, the total agreed amount will be requested in advance, and a private agreement or contract will be signed between the artist and the company for its execution. Indicatively, the Solo Exhibition of an artist based on the time and place of conduct and its duration (prices include VAT).

Approval Process
Although ARTgrID can organize any kind of exhibition, artists must submit at least 10 characteristic works they will include in their solo exhibition and inform about the dimensions and the number of the remaining works. They must also inform our company about basic issues such as the materials of the works, send their CV, and specify a price range for their works (e.g., €1000 – €2500). We commit to responding within a week if we accept to undertake your solo exhibition.
