Anastasia Chania was born and raised in Ancient Nemea, Corinthia. She studied hairdressing and continues to practise the profession. Painting has been part of her life since childhood. Entirely self-taught, she has developed her personal technique through experience, continuous study, experimentation, and an ongoing process of self-exploration. Since her school years, she has participated in group exhibitions, and in 2024 she held her first solo exhibition. Her painted hats transform a simple form of sun protection and everyday accessory into a unique artistic canvas and a mobile work of art, embracing the concept of Wearable Art. By combining the aesthetic value of the visual arts with the practical function of the hat, she turns the human body into a living, moving canvas that expresses the artist’s creative vision.
