Marianna Doriza was born in Constantinople and lives in Athens. She graduated from the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where she first encountered the art of mosaic. Since May 2019, she has been studying mosaic at the Gnosis Mosaic School under Nikos Tolis. She is a member of the International Association of Contemporary Mosaicists (A.I.M.C.), based in Ravenna, Italy. Professionally, she works in the design and manufacture of metal equipment for the catering industry.
