Dionysia-Sofia Bouloukou

Dionysia-Sofia Bouloukou is a Greek visual artist/painter who was born, works, and lives in Athens. She began her studies in Nutrition/Dietetics in Athens, but her love and passion for painting led her in different directions. She has exhibited her work in group exhibitions in Athens as well as abroad. Her works are found in private collections. In recent years, alongside her artworks, she has been attending drawing and painting classes and seminars with well-known visual artists/graduates of the Athens School of Fine Arts. She works directly on canvas without preliminary sketches, mainly using oil on linen and cotton, although she has experimented with and used various materials and mixed techniques in the past. Her love for modern-style portraits is prominent in her latest works.
