Fadumo is a contemporary self-taught visual artist based in Athens. Her artistic journey has developed through a personal path in which painting serves as a space for freedom, experimentation and continuous transformation. She has undertaken artistic training, developing a distinctive visual language. Her works combine vibrant colour, textured surfaces, figurative elements and conceptual approaches, expressed through diverse forms and aesthetics. She is interested in the power of an image to capture the viewer’s attention before revealing its story. Each work represents a new beginning, exploring different ideas, faces, symbols and perspectives. She chooses to leave room for the unknown and the unexplained, allowing each image to retain its own silence and mystery.
