Eleni Lapanti

Eleni Lapantzi was born in 1957 in Lamia. She studied Law and Pedagogy in Greece and continued her postgraduate studies in Paris. She holds a postgraduate diploma in special education and a doctoral degree in Law. She worked as an educator in special schools, at the European School of Luxembourg for five years, and from 2003 until her retirement (2022) as a special education consultant for the Region of Central Greece. Her involvement in the arts began at a young age. She attended art workshops in Lamia, Paris, and Luxembourg. Believing firmly in the therapeutic contribution of art, she used it as a tool for learning and psychotherapy in her daily educational process. In 1998, she was awarded by the Municipality of Luxembourg for her contribution through art to the European idea, and her students’ works were exhibited at Luxembourg’s public transportation stops. Her works are in private collections.
