Magda Dimoudi

Magda Dimoudi was born in Thessaloniki. She studied Byzantine painting and iconography under Ioannis Vranos from 1982 to 1984. Subsequently, and until September 1986, she took preliminary lessons and practiced painting at the ‘Praxis’ studio of Kostas Xanthopoulos, and in the same year with Vangelis Dimitreas. Since 1986, she has been living permanently in Corfu, where she continued her art lessons with Nikos Zervos, a student of Konstantinos Parthenis, and later at the Corfu Art School with Spyros Alamanos. She has presented her work from 1985 to the present in 8 solo and 60 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has designed book covers and books for the “Epsilon” publishing house. She is a member of the board of directors of the Corfu Art Association. Her works are housed at the Pylea Town Hall in Thessaloniki, the Corfu Gallery, the Greek National Tourism Organization, and in private collections.
