Emmanouil Kokolakis is a visual artist and ceramicist. He studied Business Administration and completed postgraduate studies in International Marketing in Sweden. After a period of professional activity in London, he turned to artistic practice and continued his studies in ceramics in Florence. He runs his own ceramics studio, bEK, in Barcelona, which operates as a collective, providing a space for collaboration, creativity and the exchange of experiences with other ceramicists. His artistic practice encompasses ceramic sculptures and installations through which he explores human experience, vulnerability and the relationship between the inner world and perceived reality. In his work, clay becomes a medium for expressing personal and social concerns, connecting materiality with memory and emotion.
