“Art creation is a dynamic process. The artist evolves and changes, much like every individual does. However, this evolution is imprinted by the artist onto their work, thus creating a narrative that follows and describes their journey – a trace that guides the viewer to get to know them through the path of their work. Non-representational, gestural art is the art of maturity. It grants the artist the ability to express themselves without the constraints of figurative painting. However, the techniques of which they must have already conquered, so that armed with them, they can transform and give shape to their momentum, to the emotions flooding them.This, for me, is a relatively new path that began in 2019. The works pertain to the multitude of influences, situations, and emotions we are called to manage in an era of rapid transformations that challenge human comprehension, often pushing individuals into roles of both tamer and acrobat. An acrobat on a tightrope, attempting to coordinate, balance, and cope with daily obligations without betraying their expectations. Meanwhile, they simultaneously battle their personal demons – guilt, inadequacies, and fears. A process in which the viewer becomes a participant, offering their interpretation to each artwork.”.
