Magda Dimoudi was born in Thessaloniki. She studied Byzantine painting and iconography under Ioannis Vranos from 1982 to 1984. Afterwards, until September 1986, she attended preliminary courses and painting at the ‘Praxis’ workshop of Kostas Xanthopoulos, and in the same year she also studied with Vangelis Dimitreas. Since 1986, she has been living permanently in Corfu, where she continued her art education with Nikos Zervos, a student of Konstantinos Parthenis, and later at the Corfu Art School with Spyros Alamanos. She has presented her work from 1985 until today in 8 solo exhibitions and 72 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has designed covers and books for the publishing house “Epsilon”. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Corfu Visual Artists’ Union. Her works are housed in the Town Hall of Pylaia Thessaloniki, the Corfu Art Gallery, the Hellenic Tourism Organization, and in private collections.
