Monday, 7 November 2022 – We are delighted to announce today that Kostas Michos, a Painter and Sculptor inspired by historical matters and their unseen facets, offering a unique visual perspective with surreal elements, has entrusted our platform for the construction and hosting of his new website. The website is now available at the address https://artgrid.gr/en/kostas-michos/

Kostas Michos is a visual artist primarily using painting, drawing, and visual objects as his main means of expression. He was born in 1978 and grew up in Nea Smyrni, Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Painting, Sculpture, and Art History at the private school Vakalo. He had previously apprenticed alongside the painter Chronis Botsoglou. As a person with a profound personality, with historical, ethnographic, and philosophical interests, he studied at the Department of Balkan, Slavic, and Eastern Studies at the University of Macedonia and obtained a postgraduate degree from the Kapodistrian University of Athens on “Educational Technology and Human Resource Development”. He is a police officer and is professionally active within the police force. As a visual artist, he has exhibited his work in three solo exhibitions, and his works are held in private collections. Kostas Michos collaborates with the collective of visual artists ARC – Art Revisited Collective since December 2021.
