Olga Barmazi is a painter, children’s book illustrator, and a graduate of the Katerina Rota School of Visual and Decorative Applications and the Vortex School of Artistic Jewelry. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and is a final-year student in the Joint Master’s Program in Creative Writing. Alongside her artistic career, she has long worked as an editor, proofreader, and translator for publishing houses in Athens.As a visual artist, she has showcased her work in solo exhibitions since 1997 and has participated in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her works have received awards in international competitions. She has been teaching painting since 2007, and in 2012, she founded “Apothiki Technon AMKE,” which, among other activities, offers painting workshops for children and adults. Since 2017, she has also been teaching painting at the Kalogeropoulio Foundation for Arts and Culture in Corinth.She has designed stage sets for theater and dance performances and has created collections of artistic jewelry exhibited in Greece and the United States. She has illustrated six children’s books, and her works are held in private collections. Since December 2023, she has been collaborating with the visual arts collective ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
