Nikolas Karathanasis

Nikolas was born in Athens, Greece, where he currently lives and works. He studied Informatics and Software Engineering at the Academic & Polytechnic School. He worked as a software/hardware engineer in Greece and abroad, at the same time exploring his interest in music by playing in several bands. Nikolas’s implication with photography dates way back. He associates his work with black and white film through experiment and research; he is captured by the little elements of the process, the smell of chemicals, the joy & excitement of composition. In the past years his primary focus is digital photography. He has exhibited his art in exhibitions internationally.
