Petros F. Filippou was born in Athens. From 1972 to 1974, he attended graphic arts courses at the Center for Technological Applications (KTE) and studied drawing with Vrasidas Vlachopoulos from 1974 to 1976. Between 1981 and 1984, he studied painting at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Section des Arts Plastiques, in Paris. He has presented his work in three solo exhibitions in Athens and participated in 20 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His works are part of private collections both within and outside Greece.
