Vasilis Stathopoulos was born in Athens in 1979. He studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), graduating in 2006. He was taught drawing and color techniques by Vasso Kyriaki and Sotiris Sorogas, and sculpture by Georgios Kalakalas. In 2003, he attended painting courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid. He has worked as an architect ever since, designing numerous buildings, some of which have been awarded. He has participated in architectural competitions and received two awards. Alongside his architectural practice, he maintains a studio where he works daily, producing paintings and sculptures. He has been sketching, painting, and creating scale models since a very young age and continues to do so to this day.
