Kostas Michos is a visual artist who mainly works with painting, drawing, and visual objects. Born in 1978 and raised in Nea Smyrni, Athens, he graduated from the Department of Painting, Sculpture, and Art History at Vakalo Art and Design College. He also studied with the painter Chronis Botsoglou. Michos has deep interests in history, folklore, and philosophy and holds a degree from the Department of Balkan, Slavic, and Oriental Studies at the University of Macedonia. He also earned a postgraduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Educational Technology and Human Resource Development. Michos pursues a dual professional career. Alongside his art, he is an officer in the Hellenic Police, where he has built a professional career. As a visual artist, he has shown his work in three solo exhibitions, and his works are held in private collections. Since December 2021, he has collaborated with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
