Maria Darla was born in Chalkida, where she runs the studio “Ypogeio 8A” with Vivi Sklia. She attended courses in painting, basic design, and freehand drawing at the Chalkida Art Workshop, studying under teachers such as Charikleia Mytara, Eleni Moraiti, Dimitris Gratsias, Yannis Adamakos, Lakis Patraskidis, Dionysis Papadopoulos, Sotiris Lampadaridis, and Yannis Ziogas. Additionally, she took ceramic classes with Theodora Chorafa, Voula Gounela, Myrto Magganari, Vera Siaterli, and raku techniques at the Cultural Center of Nikaia Municipality under Kostas Tarkasis. She also studied jewelry design under Akis Goumas. Maria has held two solo exhibitions: one in ceramics in 1994 and one in painting in 2008. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Chalkida, Athens, Piraeus, Delphi, Thessaloniki, and Rome. Her works are part of private collections.
