Olga Barmazi is a painter and children’s book illustrator. She is a graduate of the Katerina Rota School of Visual and Decorative Applications and the Vortex School of Visual Jewelry. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and is in the final year of the Joint Master’s Program in Creative Writing. Since 1996, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad [Europe, the USA, Japan, and Australia]. Her works have been awarded in international painting competitions and are included in private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting in children’s and adult workshops at the nonprofit arts organization “Apothiki Technon,” which she founded, as well as at the Kalogeropouleio Foundation for Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has also designed sets for theater and dance performances and created series of visual jewelry exhibited in Greece and the United States. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has developed and curated the visual storytelling/presentation of musical performances in video format. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with the ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
