Spyros Beis was born in Athens in 1961. He is a mathematician and a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts. In his work, he strives to blend artistic freedom with mathematical consistency. He experiments with randomness and its constructive role in organizing various systems, aiming to imbue new, unpredictable dimensions into often entrenched ways of seeing things. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions.
