Achilleas Angelopoulos

Achilleas Aggelopoulos was born in Athens in 1967, where he lives and works. He studied Biology at the University of Patras and earned an MBA from the University of Stirling in Scotland. He has been systematically involved in photography since 2007, attending a series of photography seminars and experiential workshops. His first teacher was Stefanos Paschos, who particularly introduced him to printing techniques. He photographs both analog with film and digitally. His great love is Polaroid, with which he continuously experiments in various alternative experimental techniques (emulsion lift, double exposure, Polaroid transparencies, etc.). He has held one solo exhibition and has participated in more than ten group exhibitions. His photographs have been published in the newspaper Kathimerini and the Italian magazine L’Opera.
