Yiannis Stamoulis

Yiannis Stamoulis was born in Athens in 1969. He worked in the Fire Department and served with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel-Deputy Chief. Alongside his service, he pursued specialized studies in the field of civil protection and security, engaged in research, and authored numerous historical articles, studies, and books, also serving as the Director of the Fire Department Museum. For several years now, he has been amateurishly involved in painting in all its forms. His first twenty works were included in a publication for the pandemic titled “Transmission Hours” in November 2020. In 2022, he participated in the exhibition titled “Works of Life” with participating firefighter artists, while the following year he organized an art exhibition titled “Athens Artistically,” dedicated to Athens, exhibiting many of his own works. He also participates in group exhibitions. He writes articles in various media, runs the blog https://stamoylis.blogspot.com, and records podcasts about art on the channel “Words of Life and Art” on Spotify.
