Olga Matzourani was born in Athens and raised in Exarchia. From 1969 to 1975, she studied decorative arts and interior architecture at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva, Switzerland, where she received the relevant diplomas. In 1981, she was appointed as an art teacher in secondary education and taught at the Music Junior High & High School of Pallini in Attica. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has held five solo exhibitions. Since 2004, she has lived and painted in Markopoulo Mesogaias.
