Dimitris Paterakis was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and his career as an engineer has allowed him to travel extensively across South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, where he currently lives and works. His journey in visual storytelling began in childhood with a Super 8 movie camera, sparking a lifelong passion for imagery. Since 2005, he has worked professionally in photography, initially in fashion, before transitioning to fine art and travel photography. Since 2014, he has used mirrorless Fuji cameras, and in 2016, he was honored as a Fuji Ambassador (X-Photographer) for his contributions to the international photographic community. Passionate about portrait, landscape, and travel photography, he continuously explores artistic expression. In recent years, he has actively participated in exhibitions, focusing on fine art and travel photography, sharing his vision through curated collections and artistic presentations.
