Olga Barmazi is a painter and children’s book illustrator. She is a graduate of the Katerina Rota School of Visual and Decorative Arts and the Vortex School of Artistic Jewelry. She also holds a degree from the Department of Political Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is completing a Joint Master’s Program in Creative Writing. Since 1996, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad (Europe, the USA, Japan, and Australia). Her works have received awards in international painting competitions and are part of private collections. Since 2007, she has been teaching painting in workshops for children and adults at the Art Warehouse, a non-profit organization she founded, as well as at the Kalogeropoulio Foundation of Arts and Culture in Corinth. She has designed sets for theater and dance performances and created series of artistic jewelry exhibited in Greece and the USA. In collaboration with composer and pianist Panagiotis Theodosiou, she has produced and curated artistic narratives/presentations of musical performances in video format. Since 2023, she has been collaborating with ARC – Art Revisited Collective.
