Eleni Karnezi is a painter born, living, and working in Athens. Coming from an artistic family (her mother was a painter), she was introduced to the dynamic world of painting from an early age. For the past fifteen years, painting has been her main activity in her free time. She holds a degree from the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Art History and Visual Arts, following many years of private studies under the guidance of artists Yiannis Vorgia, Betty Karoussi, Timos Batinakis, Yiannis Petrou, and Yiannis Nomikos, who added elements to her knowledge and technique that shaped her personal style. The artist has traveled extensively to many countries, encountering different cultures and coming into contact with colors and unique civilizations that have influenced her art. Her main medium of expression in painting is acrylics. She has shown her work in selected group exhibitions and two solo exhibitions. Her works belong to private collections in Greece, the USA, Germany, and France.
