Christianna Asprouli, a young Greek visual artist, is a distinguished archaeologist with postgraduate studies in France in the fields of Archaeology, Art History & Museology, and Plastic Arts (MA degrees from the Universities of Lumière Lyon II, Paul-Valéry Montpellier III, and the Sorbonne Panthéon Paris I). She also completed her studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts with honours, specializing in Byzantine Art (Iconography). She is involved in the field of Archaeology, participating in international excavation programs and surface surveys conducted in Greece. In the fields of Art History and Museology, she has collaborated with museums in Greece and France. In the Visual Arts, she has participated in ten group exhibitions and two solo exhibitions to date, presenting both iconographic works and secular art. She also collaborates with publishing houses for book illustrations and is currently undertaking a two-year European cultural program. She lives and works in Athens, London and Geneva.
