Fani Gavriilidou was born and raised in Athens. She studied Architecture and Urban Planning and works as an Architect Engineer to this day. At the same time, she became involved with photography during her student years, initially as a working tool and later as an autonomous creative practice, photographing scenes of the urban landscape and beyond. She has participated in group photography exhibitions focusing on Athens.
