Ioannis Georg. Karras is a physicist from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), with a Master’s degree in Computer Automation and a doctoral title, having studied and specialized both in Greece and abroad. He has been involved in electronics and has produced numerous electronic constructions in the field of automation, sound systems, and music, holding two patents. Concurrently, he has published poems-songs and scientific textbooks, both through his own publications and within the university realm. Since childhood, he has created oil paintings, with over 50 of his works scattered throughout Europe. He has participated in group exhibitions featuring diverse works of various themes and technical implementations.Today, as a retired educator, he engages in painting in a ceaseless effort to make up for lost time in his artistic creation, primarily using oil on canvas and charcoal on paper as his main expressive media. Born in 1953, he resides in Athens. He collaborates with the collective of visual artists ARC – Art Revisited Collective since July 2024.
