Ioannis Stamoulis was born in Athens in 1969. He is a retired Senior Officer of the Hellenic Fire Service. A researcher and author of numerous books on civil protection, history, and art. In recent years, he has been practicing painting as an amateur, in all its forms. He illustrates books and has exhibited his work in one solo show and many group painting exhibitions. He also writes articles for various media outlets.
